Rough Ins and Re-pipes
Plumbing rough refers to the initial installation of the plumbing system in a building. The plumbing rough stage includes the installation of pipes, valves, and fittings installed inside the walls, floors, and ceilings. At DBS we are versed in both new construction and complete remodels/re-pipes. Our team is experienced in retrofitting new plumbing into old buildings while still preserving the integrity and character of the home.
The Rough In Piping Phase includes
-
Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) system: The installation of pipes, vents, and traps to remove wastewater and prevent the buildup of sewer gas.
-
Water Supply System: The installation of pipes, valves, and fittings to bring water into the building and distribute it to various fixtures.

-
Gas Supply System: The installation of pipes, valves, and fittings to bring natural gas or propane into the building and distribute it to appliances and fixtures.

-
Fixture rough-ins: The installation of pipes, valves, and fittings in the correct locations to accommodate the final installation of fixtures.

The plumbing rough stage is an important step in the construction process, as it lays the foundation for the building's plumbing system. Serving Northern Kentucky, DBS Plumbing Solutions, pipes all rough ins per Kentucky State Plumbing Code. Our team will secure the proper plumbing permits and inspections. Once the plumbing rough is complete and fully inspected, the final fixtures can be installed and the plumbing system can be connected to the sewer and water supply.
